Since 2004, the inter-communal tourism project "Paths of Faith" has been writing a success story that spans two counties. This is also proof that nature, hiking, faith and spirituality can be combined across spaces and impressively.

Ten cities and municipalities from the Ostalbkreis and Göppingen districts offer attractive paths for the mind, the soul, for hiking and enjoying. Hiking trails for contemplation and spirituality.

The region "Drei-Kaiser-Berge / Kaltes Feld / Albuch" with the towns of Schwäbisch Gmünd, Göppingen, Heubach and Lauterstein as well as the communities Waldstetten, Ottenbach, Bartholomä, Essingen, Mögglingen and Böbingen is characterized by a great ecclesiastical tradition and history as well as a Popular piety still exists.
