The Prague is a ridge north of Stuttgart city center between the Killesberg Park and the Rosenstein Park. The district bordering the Nordbahnhof and Pragfriedhof in the west is called Auf der Prag and belongs to the Stuttgart-Nord district. Today the district, which is characterized by predominantly older apartment buildings, is very multicultural and benefits from its central location and proximity to the surrounding green spaces.

      Bastion Leibfried
      Was built for the IGA'93

The Leibfried Garden was opened as part of the 1993 International Horticultural Exhibition (IGA '93) in Stuttgart and closed the gap in the green area that had existed up to that point, six parks arranged one after the other in the shape of a "U".
The Villa Moser of the chocolate manufacturer Eduard Otto Moser had stood on the site of the garden since 1875, but was destroyed in the Second World War in 1944. The architect Hans Dieter Schaal created the Villa Moser art station for the IGA '93. It makes the remains of the Villa Moser and its overgrown park accessible via walkways without the visitor coming into contact with the site. Due to the now partially poor structural condition, some of the walkways are closed to the public (as of September 2013).

The Leibfried Garden is connected to the Wartberg and the Rosenstein Park via bridges.

South of the Leibfried Garden is the site of the Expo Wohnen of the IGA 1993, a settlement with experimental housing.
