A nice point to look at the mountains and places in the area.
The "Blinker II", as it is officially called, is part of the Sauerland Forest Sculpture Trail
The mirror develops all its skills in sun with wind. Then the individual elements move according to the "ability of the wind"
Original text on this:The light-kinetic work Blinker II by Timm Ulrichs was set up above Almert in the spring of 2010 as the last installation on the Forest Sculpture Trail. A steel frame, ten meters high and almost twelve meters long, holds 196 stainless steel sheets, which can swing freely so that they always catch the wind and light anew. From a distance, Blinker II looks like a closed projection screen and its dimensions are reminiscent of the screen of a drive-in cinema. Timm Ulrichs, born in 1940, like his kindred spirit Till Eulenspiegel, holds up a mirror to the world.
