The exhibition is dedicated to the history and technology of rescuing people at sea with image and sound documents, ship models, and information on the German Society for the Rescue of Shipwrecked Persons. The tour of the rescue cruiser "Arwed Emminghaus", which together with the lifeboat "Alte Liebe" is waiting for visitors opposite the museum entrance, is fascinating.

The U-Boot Museum opened its doors in summer 2005. The tour begins with the attached exhibition, where you can learn a lot of interesting things about German submarines and their history in the post-war period.
This is followed by a tour of the submarine itself. Visitors squeeze through the narrow aisles and get an authentic insight into life on board. The boat tour is possible without restrictions. Visitors can look in every corner. Technology enthusiasts will be interested in the machine. Families inspire the narrow galley or the team berths, where the space is also more than manageable.
Between April and October, the U-Boot Museum is open daily between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. In the winter half year it closes one hour earlier. Adults pay six euros to visit the submarine and the neighboring museum. Children up to 14 years pay four euros. The family card costs 17 euros.fehmarn-travel.de/Regionales/Fehmarn-Sehenswuerdigkeits-Highlights/U-Boot-Museum-Fehmarn
