The Scheyern Monastery, correctly named Bayrischzell-Fischbachau-Petersberg / Eisenhofen-Scheyern Monastery, is a Benedictine abbey in Scheyern in Upper Bavaria. It is located in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising and belongs to the Bavarian Benedictine Congregation.

Here an old bell was exhibited. If you want to know more about the bell, you will find a sign with further information directly on it. The bell is easy to reach and easy to find in the monastery courtyard. The courtyard also makes the place worth a detour.

A trip is particularly worthwhile in summer. Various hiking trails (such as the Panoramaweg) are well signposted.
There is also a wonderful beer garden for before, between or after the hike.
