The Pöhlbachschanze is the largest of 4 ski jumps in the ski jump complex.

Olympic gold medal winner, world champion and 4-Hills-Tournament winner Jens Weißflog has learned how to ski jumping on these machines. Jens Weißflog grew up in Pöhla.

Every year since summer, the Ladies Cup has been held for the ski jumping ladies since 2001. Almost all current top athletes (World Championships, Olympic Games) were already in Pöhla at the start.

Pöhla is one of the best-attended events in the entire competition calendar.
