    This open shelter is also suitable for picnics with larger groups (without tables).

    In summer, however, when the weather is nice, the garden of the (now permanently closed) Schwarzsohl Forester's House is a great place to enjoy an open-air picnic. Several beer tent sets are set up here for hikers to use for a rest in the sun.
    ADDITION (from April 2025): In front of the former forester's house, an information sheet is attached to a wooden pole that tells the interesting and very eventful history of the Schwarzsohl Forester's House from 1785 to 2024. - Demolition was decided in 2024. "It is not listed as a historical monument due to too many external changes."
