The Werk aan de Waalse Wetering is somewhat hidden behind a farm on the Waalseweg. You can enter the fort via a cart track to the left of the farm (including gate that is usually open). There it pays to get off and climb via the metal stairs on the left side of the fort to the grassy roof, because from there you have a beautiful view over the Island of Schalkwijk. A wonderful place to dream away and come to yourself.
