The Schulweg-Steg is a pedestrian suspension bridge over the Datteln-Hamm Canal in the east of the city of Hamm. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Werries lock at km 40,627. Based on the model of the Kaiserbrücke (Breslau) and Chain Bridge (Cologne) suspension bridges, the supporting structure made of riveted belts was planned and built between 1915 and 1917. Since the two ends of the straps are attached to stiffening beams, it is a self-anchored suspension bridge. The bridge has been a listed building since 1990 and is part of the Industrial Heritage Route.

The bridge is a little reminiscent of the Golden Gate Bridge, in blue.
