Several attempts at settlement failed. In 1834 August Alexander Springfeld bought Warbende. He had a park built in the Lenne style, which is very remarkable from a cultural and historical point of view. A juxtaposition of baroque garden art and English parkland characterizes this park. Its special features are protected trees such as a cucumber magnolia, yew pillars, copper beech, weeping ash and a tulip tree. But there is also a slit-leaved beech tree here. Some of its branches have slit, some ordinary beech leaves. Twigs with both types of leaves have been discovered inside the crown. In 1870 the Zarnikow family took over the estate. It became necessary to delimit the derogatory area of the park towards the manor by a strong wall, some of which were is still visible today. On top he had broken turrets with their loopholes placed, which led to the assumption that he was a romantic with a look back at medieval knighthood. Those in search of relaxation are recommended to take a bike tour on the ancient lime tree avenue, also known as the "army or trade route".

The Gut Warbende was bought by Karl August Alexander von Springefeld in 1834 and was expanded into a stately home. In the course of this, the park was created, which is now a listed building. Unfortunately, it is no longer known who exactly was involved in the planning and design. However, it is mentioned that the Prussian garden artist and landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenné was active in the area at that time (Arendsee Castle) and that the park was at least shaped by its style, as is well known, based on the English landscape garden.
This was created in the 18th century as a clear contrast to the very maintenance-intensive and geometric baroque gardens / French gardens. The main thing was to recreate the natural landscape and still convey the feeling of walking through a landscape painting.
The park has a tree collection rare for this region with 20 different tree species and 8 shrub species, such as cucumber magnolia, taxus columns, a beech tree, black ash and a tulip tree. But you can also find a slit-leaved beech here. Some of their branches have slotted, some other ordinary beech leaves. Twigs with both leaf types have been discovered inside the crown.

The district of Warbende belongs to the Parmen-Weggun municipality. Linguists derive the name Warbende from the Old Slavic word vrûba or the West Slavic vrba, meaning willow tree. The foundation took place in the course of the German colonization in the 12th / 13th. Century. But as early as 1375 it was said that all 18 hooves were lying here “in a desert”. Several attempts at settlement failed. In 1834 the royal Greek stud director and captain Karl August Alexander von Springefeld bought Warbende. He had a park built in the Lenné style, which is very remarkable from a cultural and historical point of view.
