The fish sculpture in the Aartal near the Stiftsmühle is six meters long and weighs 400 kilograms.
With a core made of rigid foam, polystyrene panels, 60 meters of steel rods and several layers of filler, the fish now swims against the flow of the Aar. He is colorful - he should radiate joie de vivre and create community. That's why a bench is integrated into his stomach, and a hole in his head is intended to offer children opportunities to move and play.

The Aartal is a beautiful valley that stretches as far as Dietz. You can cycle the whole route along the former Aartalbahn on a well-maintained cycle path. There is a lot to see and discover.
