Beautifully situated pond in the Mühletal with a covered rest area (table with benches). Official name in the hiking network: Unterer Fischweiher. In spring, the calls of the pond frogs can be heard here. The Mühletal with the Mühlbächle extends from the south into the Kaiserstuhl and forms the eastern valley incision in the spacious valley basin of the Liliental, which is known for its abundance of orchids. A beautiful hiking and cycling path branches off further down or south of Lilienhofstraße and leads through the forest on the edge of valley meadows to this pond. About 250 m away to the west on the "Orchid Path" is the restaurant "Zur Lilie". This "orchid path" leads to the east as one of the themed paths in the Kaiserstuhl up to the forest slope of the Gagenhart. This great themed trail, 21 km long, connects Bötzingen on the eastern edge of the Kaiserstuhl with Breisach am Rhein in the west.
