Up here above Albersbach or the holiday park you will find one of the most beautiful views of the Weschnitztal and the Trommrücken.
The geological features can be discovered while looking out over the Weschnitztal. Standing on the gray grandiorite of the front Odenwald, the Weschnitz pluton, one looks at the mighty ridge of the reddish Trommgranit. The gap between them, which was caused by tectonic movement millions of years ago, is crossed by the Weschnitz and has been inhabited for centuries.
