The path is very steep in places, but it's worth the effort! Not only from the vantage point itself, but already halfway the view is simply awesome. We were also lucky enough to encounter a huemul (Andean deer), which reacted to us surprisingly fearlessly.
Warning: when you get to the top, it can be very stormy!
From up there you also have a beautiful view of the Gray Glacier.
