Le Boël is one of the emblematic sites of the Vilaine valley.
Essential place for walks or bike rides (mountain biking, road or gravel, there is something for everyone) and even kayaking or canoeing, stopover on the towpath from Rennes to Redon with its picnic tables . The heights offer a very pretty panorama, as far as Rennes in good weather.
The passage of the lock for the boats is always a spectacle for the little ones but also for the older ones.
There is also a magnificent 12th century watermill.
To have fun, you can have lunch in a very good restaurant, the Marin Boël, and recently in a creperie.

This place brings together many hiking trails, whether on foot but also mountain biking or gravel.
Don't hesitate to cross over the SNCF bridge and climb to the top of the cliffs. The panorama is superb.
Along the fence of the DGA site (formerly CELAR) we find the GR39 which leads from Mont-Saint-Michel to Guérande.
There are also lovely walks to do on the Guichen - Pont-Réan side.
Few facilities on site, you have to go as far as Pont-Réan to find shops.
