Top cycling routes to Blautopf Spring

Tips

  • An absolutely gorgeous place. The circular route around the Blautopf is highly recommended. The Blautopf (21 meters deep) is a karst spring from which the Blau springs. You should plan a visit during the week, as it is almost overcrowded on weekends and public holidays.

  • Also in WINTER a magical place

  • For me a really worth seeing place. Great turquoise blue color of the water, you can look far into the depths. Despite the apparently completely calm surface, 2000 liters of water per second still stream upwards. The adjoining smithy (museum) is also worth seeing.
