If you stay in this place for a certain amount of time, you will feel inner peace and well-being, which speaks for a positive place of power. Our ancestors probably felt the same way, which is why the Bornstein could well have served as a pagan, sacred place where people offered sacrifices to their gods. The place was supposedly explored during the Nazi era, as local historian Sepp Probst knows. Pagan-Germanic rituals were to be held there in the post-war period.
