Neresheim Abbey

Today's monastery, whose history dates back to the 11th century, is located on the Ulrichsberg in Neresheim. It was built at the beginning of the 18th century. Highlight is the late baroque abbey church, which was built by Balthasar Neumann. Worth seeing are the dome frescoes by Martin Knoller and the main organ of Nepomuk Holzhay.The monastery hospice houses a hotel and restaurant business.
