Today's monastery, whose history dates back to the 11th century, is located on the Ulrichsberg in Neresheim. It was built at the beginning of the 18th century. Highlight is the late baroque abbey church, which was built by Balthasar Neumann. Worth seeing are the dome frescoes by Martin Knoller and the main organ of Nepomuk Holzhay.The monastery hospice houses a hotel and restaurant business. In addition, a monastery bookstore and a youth meeting center "Martin Knoller House" operated.

Neresheim Abbey Church. The Benedictine Abbey Kloster Neresheim belongs to the Beuron Benedictine Congregation and is located in the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart.
The Neresheim Abbey at the foot of the Ulrichsberg is one of the most important late baroque church buildings.
