The Alpe is very easy to reach from Oberstdorf on asphalted paths by e-bike. There are two steep climbs, but with a bit of fitness they are easily doable. The Alpe can be reached on foot in 1 to 1 1/2 hours from Riezlern.

The self-service Alpe is beautifully situated and offers a great view of the Kleinwalsertal. There is a varied selection of cakes and various snacks. The landlady and her family are incredibly hospitable. After it got a bit cooler today, the landlady went around and asked who would like a blanket. Now that's what I call exceptional service 🤗! The prices are very reasonable (Aperol Spritz, for example, €5.90). We felt at home all round and would happily recommend this friendly alpine farm.
