The Taubertalradweg (official name: Lovely Tauber Valley - the classic) is a 101 kilometer long cycle path in Tauberfranken. He connects Rothenburg ob der Tauber with Wertheim at the mouth of the Tauber in the Main. The trail runs in its entire length through the valley of the Tauber and has only few gradients. There are passenger stations at both ends and along the way. The complementary bike path Sweet Tauber Valley - the Sportive leads on 161 additional kilometers from Wertheim back to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Since 2009 the Tauber Valley Cycle Path has been awarded a 5-star rating by the General German Bicycle Club. This highest honor of the ADFC was so far only two times in Germany vergeten.

The Tauber Valley Cycle Path was one of the first cycle paths in Germany. He has since been expanded again and again. The bike path is fully signposted, easy to ride on and without heavy traffic.

Scenic, the bike path is characterized by the wooded Franconian hill country. On the sides of the Tauber Valley and its side valleys is a rocky landscape typical. In the lowlands are extensive fruit and wine growing areas with small and large wine villages, numerous historic towns and cities, old mills, Romanesque churches and historic monasteries. Culturally important cities along the way are Weikersheim, Bad Mergentheim and Tauberbischofsheim. In addition, the monastery Bronnbach and the castle Gamburg are on the track.
