The Top 5 Gorges around Folldal

Although there are only a few waterfalls in Norway, this one is something special. In sunshine, the light shows off truly spectacularly. Unfortunately, you can only reach it via the small river, so getting your feet wet is inevitable.

A tumultuous torrent flows from the Fremre Illmannstjern to throw itself a little further down into the river which escapes from Lake Lonin.

A narrow mountain pass between steep rock faces with an enormous amount of boulders. Balancing over the boulders reduces the speed significantly even in dry conditions (no climbing necessary).

Fantastic panorama. The gravel road can be uncomfortable due to the combination of gradient, surface and headwind, but the view during the tour and at the end of the road is fantastic.
