Nice valley with easy hiking trails. Pleasantly "cool" in summer because a lot lies in the shade of the trees.

One of many caves in and around the Chaltbrunnental. Some of them are accessible, although sometimes only on all fours ;-)
A light source is very helpful.

Great section and much quieter than in the well-known, lower part.

Located on the opposite side of the stream from the hiking trail. Can be easily reached via a path in the rock, provided you are sure-footed.

In my youth there was a rumor that Count von Thierstein had hidden his treasures here in the wild holes when the castle was stormed. Sometimes we crawled far into it.
