Relief Reservoir Dam Overlook

On a rocky outcrop just off the main trail this overlook offers sweeping view of the lake and dam, and all the way north along the Summit Creek valley downstream. A scant spur trail leads down to the dam.

At the inflow of the creek a wide beach gives easy access to the lake shore, which otherwise is covered with marsh and grass. The lake is however very shallow and barely deep enough for a dip.
