Queen Margaret's Cove

Legend has it that Margaret of Anjou escaped to France from here, lowered over the side of the cliff in a basket.

This grotto was carved out of the rocks for the women to get changed in to Bath in the river. Not sure what year. There is a lovely walk to it through woodland looked after by the Woodland Trust
