Alemoor Loch

Causeway crossing the Alemoor Loch (reservoir), expanded in the 1960's. Keep a keen eye out for the chimney pots of the flooded farmhouse when the water levels are low.

Ruberslaw Covert Pond

The pond itself is perhaps not that much to look at, but the views from up here of the entire countryside from above (you will see the town of Hawick from up here) are very pleasant indeed.

Lindean Loch is a beautiful small loch that is now part of a nature reserve. It’s a lovely little spot for a wild swim and is situated next to a small car park.

Highlight • Viewpoint
A lovely little loch quite literally straight out of Selkirk, with the views of Selkirk Hills to the east of you. Apparently, in this loch up to 1,000 birds roost at dusk in the reeds here!
