Attractions around Witsum

The ice cream parlor of the "Eis Däne" in Nieblum is a tip for delicious ice cream. But the tea shop "Alte Thee Hus" is also worth a visit.

Goting is among the most desirable places on the island. On the beach under the Goting cliff there are many boulders from the Saale Ice Age that are over 200,000 years old.

Wyk is the main town on the North Sea island of Foehr in the Wadden Sea National Park World Heritage Site.

Run the dyke promenade to the end and a bit around the corner. The old lighthouse is located there. A beautiful piece of earth.

Really a super great beach and you can walk in all directions (almost) without end. A ferry in the background is almost every half hour for free. We enjoyed it.
