An impressive waterfall on Hoff Beck, just upstream of an old mill (now self-catering accommodation). The mill was made for grinding corn, then converted to manufacture bobbins and finally a sawmill.

Carefully footing especially in wet conditions (the path remains boggy a long time) I also wouldn't recommend sliding down the water though it does look like it'd be fun!

A small waterfall, but very impressive. Here, Hell Gill Beck becomes River Eden. The waterfall is an 8m drop, but that alone sure makes good noise!
