The tourist signposts don’t point down this route but the path is visible from the main tourist path. The route takes you though a narrow pathway between gardens down to the beach. Some beautiful scenery and not a person around.

Lovely little localist cafe / bar. Not tourist prices not local but somewhere in between….there’s a local corner store over the road to pick up goodies after a rest.

Grandiose view compensates for the arduous ascent.

Overall, it's a pretty manageable island... there's no road traffic... not far from the main beach there's another small beach for nudists

The most amazing sandy beach in a bay of shallow warm water with bars and restaurants. More than worth the trip over to the other side of the island.
