Attractions around Mönchberg

Klingenberg is a magical place with a town center that tempts you to dream and lots of good restaurants and wine bars, so that everyone is taken care of.

The Main cycle path between Klingenberg and Miltenberg is very nice to ride. There are no inclines and the path is well developed. Benches along the route invite you to linger.

The Seltenbach gorge near Klingenberg (district Miltenberg) is one of the 100 most beautiful geotopes in Bavaria. The layers of rock there tell of the earth's history. The densely overgrown gorge is a habitat for amphibians of all kinds.

In summer it is often "hell going on" here, but it is still really fun to cruise along the banks of the Main! My tip for the waterfront promenade:

Fantastic. Everyone should see that when he's in Miltenberg

Short but fun trail that can be used to learn new skills (balance, small jumps, pump track) on the bike.

The source trail is a technically challenging trail. Here are some tricky spots, especially in the wet. The route is part of the Miltenberg mountain bike round. The tour connects numerous trails in the area.

Just stop on the bridge. Miltenberg is beautiful.

The view is fantastic, and if there's something delicious to eat, so much the better. 😄

Very high quality clay has been mined there since the mid-16th century. It is one of the oldest clay mines in Germany [work there was discontinued in 2011

The Keltentrail is garnished with some beautiful passages and embellishments, see large heart image along the way. So always keep your eyes open and not just race through the forest at high speed. ;)
