Beautiful section of the waterfall trail. Small but nice!

Very nice section at the beginning / at the end of the Wasserfalsteig.

A natural rest area in the middle of the gorge with barbecue pits and seating. Ideal for a break in a peaceful setting, surrounded by moss-covered rocks and forest. Perfect for families or hiking groups.

The Schluchtensteig snakes along narrow forest paths through the unspoilt bann forests on the slopes of the Wehraschlucht. In various places, the dense forest opens a little and gives you a view of the dramatic landscape.

After you have descended in a Kerbtal to the Wehra, you can rest here and enjoy the noise before it goes up again on the opposite side.

The Höllschlucht is about 1.5km long and is an excellent backdrop for photo enthusiasts, easy to cross from spring to autumn.

We were there today, the path in the gorge (waypoint 2-3) is a little different than indicated. Just follow the signs and the yellow diamond.

The devil hole stinks - yes, really, it's rising gases. It is closed off, because entering this hole is forbidden. It's exciting to hear the story of this hole from long-established hikers, otherwise it's rather unspectacular!
