With the Alps Epic Trail, you can justifiably say that it is one of the most beautiful trails in the world. It leads across the breathtaking mountain trail through the Landwassertal and has been awarded the "Epic Trail" by the International Mountain Bike Association IMBA. This trail is a 40-kilometer mountain bike dream with lots of views, unforgettable descents and beautiful nature. The tour starts very comfortably: With the mountain railway you drive up to Jakobshorn, where the tour begins. A bit of gravel road to get warm, then it goes to the preserves and the single trail begins. From Jakobshorn you will enjoy a first descent, which will take you to the idyllic mountain village of Sertig, where you can take a breather. If you want to strengthen yourself, stop by at Walserhuus. And on it goes. Up and down, enduro in its most beautiful form. Again and again you come to nice places that invite you for a short rest. At a fire pit, for example, at the mountain restaurant Rinerhorn or even at a small brewery. Indulgence is guaranteed as well as always good care, if your food is not enough.Towards the end of the tour it gets really action packed again: over a wonderful single trail you rush into the Zügenschlucht gorge and follow the Flusslein Landwasser up to your destination in Filisur for a while. On this last section, you will pass the railway line of the Rhaetian Railway again and again. Particularly impressive is the Landwasser Viaduct, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008. Maybe you know it from the video "Home of Trails," in which Danny MacAskill balances on the perimeter wall of the viaduct. After the tour, you can experience this railway again from a different perspective, because from the finish in Filisur the train takes you comfortably back to Davos.

The "645 Pischa Route" is a challenging singletrack tour high above the Flüelatal. At just 30 kilometers, she challenges your technique and condition alike, but rewards you with terrific views and incredibly flowing singletrack.Start of the tour is at the tourism and sports center in Davos Platz, from where you first drive towards Davos Dorf, but then soon cross the railway tracks and drive through the forest the beautiful Flüelatal. On the following slightly rising single trail parallel to the Flüelabach, you will quickly reach Tschuggen, where you can refresh yourself in the Gasthaus zur Tschuggen. The way here is impressive, because although it's uphill, it's totally fun. Uphill flow at its best, just awesome! After crossing the busy pass road, a steep trail with many vertical meters is waiting for you. Get off and push a piece, here is false ambition out of place. Instead, you can rather enjoy the impressive mountain panorama that is always present here. At the top station of the Pischabahn you made it then - here is now time to take a deep breath. From the mountain station, a tricky, but fun single trail leads along the ridge and offers you a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. Before the last steep climb to the Hüreli the trail branches off to the right and leads in beautiful flow over mountain meadows towards Drusacha. One to two difficult spots have to be mastered until Alp Drusacha is reached. To conclude, another flowing single trail leads directly to the Davosersee, where you can pass the beautiful tour when stopping by on the terrace of "Von Sprecher Haus" right on Lake Davos.

Through the Zügenschlucht meanders a picturesque railway line, which is known and popular among train travelers. But also for bikers has the Zügenschlucht a lot to offer, because similar to the trains of the Rhaetian Railway, trails meander high above the imposing gorge to meadows and back again. The approximately 45-kilometer tour still has a special feature: it is already mobile in early summer due to the warmer climate in meadows. You start in Davos and first cross said railway tracks before you come to the Mattawald. From now on it is easy uphill, sometimes downhill. Long climbs await you on the easy dirt roads and singletrack but not at first, because you drive the whole time parallel to the river Landwasser. In the Walser village Monstein you should definitely plan a rest. Because here is the highest beer brewery in Europe - if that is not a good reason for a break. After that, the trail leads to old silver mines only on a wide forest road and then on a technically challenging trail to Jenisberg. The trail is partially exposed and it may well be that you have to push or carry your bike briefly. Just take it easy, it's half as wild. After Jenisberg still waiting for a nice downhill on you, which brings you back into the canyon gorge. On the old train road you now drive to the station Wiesen, where there are delicious cakes. After a sweet break begins the steep climb to the old Zügenweg. Here you drive back to the ravine on the opposite side of the valley. This singletrack leads partly through sloping terrain and is only suitable for advanced skiers. After a short descent you reach Davos Glaris, from where you return to Davos on back roads.

In winter, the Chörbschhorn is a well-known summit for ski touring. In the summer it is a nice destination for this breathtaking E-MTB tour, which has everything you would expect from a tour in the Swiss Alps: demanding climbs, unforgettable views, cozy rest stops and of course really good singletrack. You start from the tourism and sports center in Davos Platz in the direction of Davos Dorf. But before you reach this hamlet, the route bends to the left - the fun can begin! First, the long climb to Schatzalp awaits you. Luckily you are sitting on the E-MTB, which with a little extra boost ensures that you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery in peace. First you drive over asphalt, cross the promenade and then reach a wide roadway, over which you work slowly but surely higher and higher. The higher you get, the smaller and narrower the paths and trails become. Until you've made it: Your "travel height" is now about 2,300 meters for a while. Surrounded by the beautiful mountains with all their peaks and fantastic panoramic views you will simply enjoy the coming kilometers. Over the Strela Pass a beautiful single trail leads you over the Latschüelfurgga to the Chörbschhorn hut. The small refuge provides the perfect backdrop for a promising break. If you do not have enough, you can climb up to Chörbschhorngipfel from here and enjoy an extra round view. After the Chörbschhorn hut, the highlight of the tour awaits you: a challenging singletrack down to Stafelalp. From the Stafelalp you then come to Frauenkirch and back to Davos.

If there were the big lexicon of mountain biking, then this tour would be listed as a definition of "Panorama". The name is on the approximately 26 kilometer program, but it's even better: The vast majority of this tour leads downhill - the driveway to the start takes over the Parsennbahn for you. Before you sit down on the bike, you can make yourself so comfortable: The climb to the start of the tour on the Weissfluhjoch done the Parsennbahn for you. Already from the comfortable funicular you can get used to the breathtaking panorama that accompanies you throughout the tour. Once at the top, it goes straight to the point. Over the Felsenweg you come to the Strela Pass and then on a challenging single trail through the Schiawang, where a careful driving is necessary.Right hand, it goes directly to the steep Schiatobel. Finally, you reach the avalanche barriers, from where you have a sensational view of the Landwassertal. By singletrack you continue past the Parsennhütte to the top station of the Gotschabahn. Now it gets crisp: The trail over the Gotschnagrat to Schwarzseealp is phased technical and tricky, but for experienced drivers easily feasible. If this section is over, expect pure flow: A world-class trail leads you to Gotschnaboden and from there in the opposite direction to the Wolfgang Pass. At the end of Lake Davos, you finally roll back relaxed to Davos.

Riding a mountain bike through the mountains of Davos Klosters is always an experience. But there is another exciting way to discover the region: it is known for its unique mountain ranges of the Rhaetian Railway, some of which are even UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This tour always offers you a great view of one of the train routes. From a wonderful trail you have a clear view of the Wiesener and the Landwasser Viaduct. And the route has another special feature: Due to the milder climate in meadows, it can often be traveled in the pre-season.The trail starts at the Wiesen train station and if you are wondering about the initial dangling - we have deliberately built it in. Because it leads you to a cult place of mountain bike sport: to the Landwasser Bridge, over whose wall Danny MacAskill balanced for his video "Home of Trails". Simply impressive. And the next highlight follows immediately when you see the imposing Wiesen Viaduct. The path then meanders over the suffering soil of the refreshing country water to Filisur. Shortly before you reach Filisur, the impressive highlight of this tour awaits you with the impressive 65 meter high Landwasser Viaduct. It is world famous, a popular photo motif and part of the UNESCO World Heritage. After Filisur you drive over the Schönboden through the forest back to the train station in Wiesen, the starting point of the tour. From Davos (and back) you can go by bike shuttle, by postbus or - in the spirit of this tour - by train.

This tour is the ultimate freeride experience in Davos Klosters. It integrates the mountain railways of the region, which take you up to the summit nine times and to the start of breathtaking single trails. On the other hand, you concentrate entirely on the downhills and scratch the record-breaking 10,000 downhill meters! With five different mountain railways that take bikes, Davos Klosters has a unique offer. If you skillfully combine these tracks, this unique tour will come out. Although you use several mountain railways several times, different trails are always waiting for you on the way down. These have a lot to offer: The high proportion of single trails of over 90 percent requires a certain routine. In addition, technically demanding passages await you in places, so this round is particularly recommended for experienced bikers. If you don't dare to do the whole lap in one go, there is nothing to be said against driving it in sections. We don't want to list every single descent here - each one is a small highlight and will put a permanent grin on your face. Instead we want to mention a few things that are just important on such a long tour. Above all, you should consider the operating times of the mountain railways and start early enough. It is best to stand directly at 8.15 a.m. at the valley station of the Parsennbahn:Parsenn: 8.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m., 1.15 p.m. to 4.15 p.m. (transport on Weissfluhjoch with chairlift)
    Rinerhorn: 8.30am to 12.30pm, 1.30pm to 5pm
    Gotschna: 8.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m., 1.15 p.m. to 4.45 p.m.
    Madrisa: 8.15 a.m. to 5 p.m.
By the way, all the fun is not expensive at all. With the Premium Card (which every guest receives from a commercial overnight stay), the day ticket, which is valid on all mountain railways, costs only 15 Swiss francs per person. The bike transport costs an extra CHF 20. However, if you stay in a bike hotel in Davos Klosters, bike transport is included. So the bike day costs either a mere 15 or a maximum of 35 francs per person.
Pack enough provisions, a few spare parts and warm / waterproof clothing if the weather changes, so that this tour will be an unforgettable experience even if something goes different than planned for maximum driving pleasure.
