The UTMB is the holy grail of trail running. The ultimate dream. With Suunto, you can reach for the stars.

Athletes across the globe say this race is unique, thanks to its setting, history, terrain, and stunning alpine surroundings. The best way to really understand this is to go and train there. Whether you're looking for a weekend break, to get to know the terrain, a chance to discover the massif, a long-distance outing, or simply to take in the sights, this Collection is for you.

The Collection includes five Tours of varying distances and gradients. Each loop begins and ends in the same spot as the legendary UTMB start line in the Place du Triangle de l'Amitié, providing inspiration and giving you a boost of energy more effective than any gel. The routes pass by numerous refuges and water fountains, so you'll have no problem filling your flasks, even on the longest Tours.

The first route is the smoothest and fastest. The next four are presented in order of difficulty, taking the distance and gradient into account.

The trails pass by some of the most beautiful lakes in the area, including Lac Blanc and Les Chéserys, and take in some of the best views of the Mont-Blanc massif from the Grand Balcon Nord (North Balcony). Otherwise, you can explore the wilderness of the Aiguilles Rouges Nature Reserve. The trails alternate between rolling dirt roads, technical scree slopes, and forest paths strewn with roots. All in all, it is a great way to work on all the different aspects of the UTMB.

Chamonix is easily accessible by bus or train. So get out there, have fun, push yourself, and when you feel ready, go to montblanc.utmb.world.
