You've made it. The last stage is upon us. Finally, you climb the Zirbitzkogel - the highest point of the entire Southern Alps Panorama Trail - with its magnificent panorama before descending to the Tonner Hut.



At the beginning, you hike towards the Stoana Hut without much of a difference in altitude

The seventeenth stage takes you high up to the Saualpe. The Saualpe, as a gentle counterpart to the Karawanks, offers you wonderful views of the Karawanks and the Julian Alps.
