Fast and twisty descent out of Norma. So much fun.

Then a nice 30 kilometre (19-mi) or so but as we got closer to Roma, things got hectic. And then Roma was next level hectic. But cool to see all the history.

The road out of Pontremoli was a lovely way to start, climbing a bit with some nice views, heading through some little villages and towns.
Once you hit the beach, it’s a long stretch of either riding on the main road and stopping at the lights all the time, or riding on the bike path with leisure cyclists

Riding out of Milan wasn’t the best – long bike path followed by main roads and only a handful of nice roads despite covering 100 kilometres (62 mi). Very fast and flat, but busy main roads.
