With a length of around 30 kilometers, the third stage of the Eiger E-MTB loop is significantly shorter than the first two. Perfect if you are already a bit exhausted and ideal for taking a lot of time on the way, enjoying the wonderful landscape and discovering the highlights along the route. The first highlight is not long in coming. Immediately after you leave Meiringen, you have a view of the legendary Reichenbach Falls, where Sherlock Holmes defeated his arch enemy Professor Moriarty in the novel by Conan Doyles and plunged into the depths himself. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the waterfall from afar, or park your bike briefly and ride the nostalgic funicular to the viewpoint. Then the long climb to the Grosse Scheidegg is waiting for you. It really has it all - how good that you are on your E-MTB. But that's also great if you prefer to take it easy and plan a break or two. There are plenty of opportunities. In Rosenlaui, for example, a trip to the spectacular glacier gorge is worthwhile, which you can visit in about 45 minutes on foot. After another 100 meters in altitude, you can recharge your battery at the beautiful Chalet Schwarzwaldalp while you indulge in culinary delights.Well strengthened and with a full battery, you now head to the Grosse Scheidegg and further towards First, with the imposing Wetterhorn in the back. The higher you go, the more impressive the view is. Just stop and enjoy it in peace. Because soon you made it. A long, paved descent now leads back to Grindelwald, the starting point for a great, promising tour on your E-MTB, which you will not soon forget.

The second stage of the Eiger E-MTB loop is the reward for the demanding first day: Today you can expect a really long descent, wonderful natural highlights and the picturesque Lake Brienz. At the end of the day, you covered almost 60 kilometers and enjoyed almost 1,600 meters of depth. It starts after a restful night in the wonderfully quiet mountain village of Mürren. To wake up, you can briefly enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains before the almost endless descent into the Lauterbrunnen Valley is waiting for you. Along the White Lütschine you roll comfortably in the direction of Lauterbrunnen, where you will pass the impressive accumulation of dust, which you already admired yesterday. If you fancy a second breakfast or want to buy some provisions: in Lauterbrunnen you have the opportunity. When you leave the village, you have two options: You can choose to drive on the right side of the river on forest trails and easy trails or on the left side of the river on the road. This is of course more energy-efficient when driving, but depending on the time of day you have to expect some traffic. In Zweilütschinen the route takes you right from the river to Wilderswil and through Interlaken to the northern shore of Lake Brienz. From now on you will always have an eye on Lake Brienz, whose deep blue water reflects the mountains - a wonderful sight. The route runs partly on paved, partly on unpaved paths in a constant up and down. The towns of Oberried and Brienz provide variety and offer you opportunities for breaks and refreshments. After Brienz you drive a short distance along the eastern shore of the lake before turning onto the quiet bike path, which finally leads you comfortably to the stage destination Meiningen. If you still feel like some culture and entertainment here: The Sherlock Holmes Museum could ensure an exciting end to the day.
