The second stage of the Eiger E-MTB loop is the reward for the demanding first day: Today you can expect a really long descent, wonderful natural highlights and the picturesque Lake Brienz. At the end of the day, you covered almost 60 kilometers and enjoyed almost 1,600 meters of depth.It starts after a restful night in the wonderfully quiet mountain village of Mürren. To wake up, you can briefly enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains before the almost endless descent into the Lauterbrunnen Valley is waiting for you. Along the White Lütschine you roll comfortably in the direction of Lauterbrunnen, where you will pass the impressive accumulation of dust, which you already admired yesterday. If you fancy a second breakfast or want to buy some provisions: in Lauterbrunnen you have the opportunity.When you leave the village, you have two options: You can choose to drive on the right side of the river on forest trails and easy trails or on the left side of the river on the road. This is of course more energy-efficient when driving, but depending on the time of day you have to expect some traffic. In Zweilütschinen the route takes you right from the river to Wilderswil and through Interlaken to the northern shore of Lake Brienz.From now on you will always have an eye on Lake Brienz, whose deep blue water reflects the mountains - a wonderful sight. The route runs partly on paved, partly on unpaved paths in a constant up and down. The towns of Oberried and Brienz provide variety and offer you opportunities for breaks and refreshments. After Brienz you drive a short distance along the eastern shore of the lake before turning onto the quiet bike path, which finally leads you comfortably to the stage destination Meiningen.
