This path has history to show! The Rennweg is documented as a courier and messenger path and avoids most settlements as a ridgeway. This offers picturesque views of the wide valleys and fairy-tale castles. Gravel pleasure at its best! Make sure to stack up on your refreshments, since the route crosses

The five star gravel route connects the five communities of the northern Steiger-Forrest. Apart from one climb to the Zabelstein hill, the track is feasible for most gravel athletes.
The route runs off the beaten tracks separated from the major traffic. Natural beauty and old town romanticism alternate along the route.
