Your second day of adventure is a hike through the breathtaking Husedalen valley from Kinsarvik to the Hadangervidda plateau.

The trail, which is perhaps one of the most beautiful in Norway, leads 12 kilometres (7.4 miles) through these magnificent landscapes to four impressive waterfalls. In total, you ascend and descend 570 metres (1,870 ft) today.

The route begins a short drive from Kinsarvik, a small town on the edge of the Sørfjord. From the car park, you follow a well-marked trail along the Kiso River which climbs into the spectacular landscapes.

Every few kilometres, you stumble upon another waterfall backdropped by dark mountains. The Tveitafossen, Nykkjesøyfossen, Nyastølsfossen, and Søtefossen waterfalls lie en route.

At the fourth waterfall, you turn around and follow the trail back to the starting point. If you wish to shorten this hike, you can visit less waterfalls and return sooner. Back in Kinsarvik, you can find shops and restaurants to re-fuel after your hike.
