Via the car-free Lichtentaler Allee, Ben and I leave Baden-Baden towards the monastery in Lichtental and the forests behind it. On a scorching hot day of over 33 degrees, we consciously choose the shadiest route. As soon as we dive into the forest, the coolness immediately feels like a reward.
