In the first section you walk a lot on roads, later you pass many pastures on a beautiful wide farm road, where you can enjoy great views if you like the flat land.
At the entrance to the moor path you should definitely stay on the paths, otherwise you will get your feet wet. Unfortunately, our given route was not clear where it was going ...
All in all a nice lap, for which there could have been better start / finish locations, where an information board was within sight of our route, a small parking lot, you could have started easily from there.

So I really wanted to see the ruins in Hude and then it is packed up and there is a scaffolding around 😑 completely stupid.
Unfortunately the way there wasn't as nice as hoped. There is a long stretch along the road, then a long stretch directly on the rails and only a few moments in the forest when the dog can run free and relax entspannt
What a shame, really a shame.
At least we were traveling together and the weather was better than expected. At the end there was a delicious ice cream sundae in the Italia as a reward, which made the trip worthwhile.

Since we had our Black Forest domicile in Todtnauberg, we naturally wanted to have hiked the local highlights. With the start at the Kurhaus we are first to the waterfalls, which impressed us very much. The Wasserfallsteig also has a stamp box if someone collects the stamps.
We went in the other direction, so we went to the Kurhaus twice, but that could have been shortened. The ascent to the Long Bank is sometimes quite strenuous and dragging, but on the way there, the artificial mountain lake created in 2014 is worth a detour. It was especially great for our dog to cool off there. At the Long Bank you have a great view and can take a break there.
Overall we were just over 5.5 hours on the road, but it was worth it.
