My favourite sunset walk. Easy parking at the National Trust car park (pay and display, free to members), then up through the trees on a clear path, through the gate and turn left. It takes you into a different world, on a windy path through woodland and finally into a hidden valley, then its a steepish

This is a cracking walk for nine months of the year. The bracken makes it a lot more challenging for those other three months so you may want to give it a miss beween mid June and September. Just to give you a heads up! There is parking for one or two cars just before Green Cottage the start point, so

I love Wentwood Forest! It's great for walking, running, cycling and horseriding. But it is all on a slope... so with this walk, what goes down must come back up again (please don't curse me on the uphills!).

The terrain is good underfoot, there are a few boggy bits, but watch out to the left and right

This is a lovely ride visiting some of the historical sites around Tintern. Start at Fedw Woods car park, which has loads of space. The ride takes you along quite lanes, through woods, forestry and bridleways, you'll need a gravel, hardtail of full mtb for this. There is a short section between Tintern

This is one of my favourite walk/trots. There is space for a few cars on the grass just before the cattle grid on the Llanellen road. Unfortunately no public transport. Then through the gate and drop down to the Punchbowl. From there you'll follow the former Hill's Tramroad, whch went between the ironworks
