Arrival in Kiel!
I made it to Kiel well, but not completely dry. You can feel the last few days in your legs, so the many small hills were all the more force-wrenching today. But the landscape was beautiful again and I was entertained 😁
Arrival in Kiel a little later than planned, but I wasn't pressed for time. Let's see where it's going next time 😉

Today we went to Lübeck.
It was much more hilly than the days before, but everything was manageable. The track was very nice. Quiet village streets, lots of forest and fields. Since I turned north in the morning, the west wind no longer hit me head-on. A dream!
As expected, Lübeck was well attended. But my hotel is very centrally located and shines with a great view! In the evening the sun even comes out again 😁

Ouch that was far!
Today was the longest day of the week. Fortunately, I left early enough not to be too pressed for time. It worked! With many breaks and steady speed, the kilometers came together.
The weather was a little more gracious with me today. Just a short drizzle around noon and another moderate shower just before Boizenburg. But it doesn't matter!
The wind was still my constant companion. Mostly frontal. Acceptance set in, there was no annoyance. Everything is feasible and manageable 😁

Today was exhausting.
Lots of rain, extreme gusts and construction sites that had to be avoided by far. The dike almost blew me over several times. And all in all, too many country roads that I have been on. But it's done!
I would have liked to see more of Havelberg. But the strong wind and the resulting sneaking there didn't allow me the time. Then I'll have to come back again! Wittenberge is very beautiful and even welcomed me with sunshine at the end 😁

Berlin - Kiel is on the plan for the next 5 days! The first day was eventful. After I got out of town, I got lost and missed a railroad crossing on the route. Now I was standing on one side and my bike path continued on the other side. Instead of going back to make the right transition, I took a rather unsuitable "hiking trail". That ended surprisingly. Since it was not far to the next street, according to the navigation system, I pushed my donkey across the meadow. Bad idea ... meter-high grass, nettles and thistles. A small stream with steep slopes that almost put my feet under water.
Then I finally found my "level crossing" ... or tunnel, fits. After that, despite the strong wind, things finally made good progress from the front. Beautiful landscape and great bike paths as far as the eye can see.
In Rathenow I was still busy shopping. The last few kilometers we drove in the drizzle towards Pension 😁
