Several years ago I was bit by a dog in rural Pierce County, Wisconsin. I reported the incident to the Pierce County Health Department and they quarentined the dog long enough to be sure it was not rabid. Rabies is unlikely but after caring for patient who died of rabies in a Lao refugee camp I don
