We decided to go coastal and take the road back from Pigna after a few punctures 😆We passed by Isolabona and Dolceaqua before reaching Ventimiglia, Menton, Monaco, had a coffee at Café du Cycliste before continuing towards Antibes.

Amazed by the beauty and all "wow- moments". This is definitely a route to do. After another beautiful but rocky decsent we stopped to eat at refugio Allavena. Lovely people ❤️ We then continued downhill through the autumn colours to Pigna were we stocked up on fruit and later managed to find a kind of camping sauvage out of town 😅

Camping at +2000m was slightly cold 🤣 but the sun warmed us up - as did the gravel climbs. Alta Via Del Sale was spectacular, the views are just stunning😍

After having left our camping spot we had coffee in the cute village of Saorge. What a beautiful place surrounded by mountains. In Tende we fuelled up on coffee and so e pastries before heading up to the mountains. It was a steep climb from get go 😅
