I do not recommend doing this tour. It is not an actual hiking tour. Most of the way there is no actual path and you are climbing up a steep mountain side on rubble and boulders. After that you slide down what used to be a trail but which has mostly been washed away by storms. If it weren't for the occasional

A circular hike from Curral das Freiras to Eira do Serrado. The first half takes you along an abandoned road, which is overgrown and with rock debris, including two tunnels. This part makes you feel like you are in an apocalyptic Zombie movie. You will hardly meet anyone else there. The descent from
