Beautiful nature reserve. Well laid out and maintained. Bathing beach. Many barbecue areas, even with free wood. A wooden cabinet with a refrigerator inside. Delicious cheese from the farm is available here. I immediately took a piece and paid afterwards by bank transfer, very practical.

Wonderful snow hike. I had hoped for snow, but didn't expect so much even at the start. Simply beautiful. But certainly also recommended in summer. The entire route is worth seeing, especially the waterfalls. But I would then start on the Pianaselva, which you can reach with the cable car from Faido. Open May-September.

Super beautiful, highly recommended loop with recurring panoramic views over Lake Maggiore and the adjacent lakes. Partly over the beautifully designed golf course. From the golf course to the Cappella di Santa Christina, you have to climb over a hip-high fence, which was fun lifting a 40 kg dog over

There was asphalt, but it was a nice tour. Varied. Small Italian villages without tourism, beautiful landscapes. And for dogs, plenty of water, now and then.

Small park at the southern end of Lago Maggiore. Picnic possibility, playground, dog can go into the water.

Very nice loop. Wide gravel road at the beginning/end, the rest narrow paths. Great views of the lake. Lots of shade, good to walk even in summer.

At the beginning, it goes past the Heidenmauer for a stretch. It is 11 km long, and one doesn't know how old it is, who built it, and why. I did not visit the monastery, as dogs are forbidden there.
