Nice route, especially the first part on the Grand Balcon. The ascent to the index is more technically demanding. Better not on weekends; especially the (intersecting) route to Lac Blanc is very popular!

Great hike to the newly opened Rifugio Grauson at over 2500 m. The path is wonderfully varied and not too steep; with more than 700hm but not to be underestimated!
