That was a biggun! About half the distance and elevation of the UTS, so on one hand I feel good about the time and how I felt at the end, on the other it's hard to imagine doing that twice!
Feeling good, with 31 days until the Ultra! Scarily close now! Tonight's run was great, very damp, and caused a bit of nip chafe! 😭 but some good miles under the belt!
I find the runs that are easiest for me to digest mentally are the ones where I set out to do a 5k, then decide to add a bit on, then a bit more, and a bit more, until its doubled in length! I enjoyed that! Cracking views and all!
One of my favourite runs so far. Good company, good trails! Also managed to venture on a trail that I've not been on, which offered the most amazing views! Can't wait to get back up there!!
A bit later than planned,,, I really wanted to do it within a week, but, we went on holiday, and so did my knees! 😆
