A wild windy snowy start but change to sunshine and beauty. Paths very soggy in parts so needed to pick way with help of dog.

There is no path I just headed in the direction, avoiding wet ground. Overshot on the way out, way back was more direct.

Newark Park, Monarch & Cotswold ways loop
Many birds sadly forgot my bins. Very icy on tracks. One like a luge run. Sticks would have been handy but I kept to the vegetation on edges. Great walk.

Back of Filton Airfield
Paths changed since massive house buildings going on, but managed to navigate around the back of the airfield. Ran out of time so returned on the bus.

Villach – View from Oswaldiberg Church
Steep woodland slopes a bit hairy. Make sure you have good daylight, sticks may help. The view at the top totally worth the climb.
