I fulfilled my dream of hiking the Fichtelberg from home, intended as training for the ERZ50. It was a fantastic experience. We had to change the planned route because the path in Tellerhäuser was impassable due to the Sachsenforst forestry logging operations.
The route is also easily manageable by bike
